The University Council Vice Chairman of Peking University in China, Wang Jie, visited Harvard with three colleagues from the University Computer Center to discuss topics around university information technology strategy and project planning. The delegation met with Anne Margulies, Harvard's Chief Information Officer; Ellen Gulachenski, Managing Director for Project Planning and Management for Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT); Charles Kling, Managing Director for Support Services, HUIT; and Catie Smith, Managing Director for Strategy and Service Management, HUIT.
A delegation from Zhejiang University in China, led by President Wu Zhaohui, visited Harvard for two days to explore many possible areas of collaboration. President Wu met with President Faust, and the delegation also interacted with the Harvard China Fund, Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, Chan School of Public Health, Harvard Art Museums, the Center for Geographic Analysis, and the Harvard-Yenching Institute.
