
Dr. John Nkengasong, Director of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, visited Wadsworth House on March 4, 2020. Dr. Nkengasong spent 3 days at Harvard at the invitation of the Center for African Studies, and delivered the inaugural Joseph S. Agyepong Distinguished Lecture on Public Health in Africa at the Chan School of Public Health. Joseph S. Agyepong, founder and executive chairman of JOSPONG group of companies in Ghana and donor of the lectureship, accompanied Dr. Nkengasong to Wadsworth House to meet with the Marshal. Professor Emmanuel Akyeampong, Faculty Director of the Center for African Studies, and Alex Taylor, Executive Director, participated in the visit as well.
