The Mayor of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Takele Uma Benti, visited Wadsworth House while at Harvard for a week-long engagement with the Center for International Development at the Harvard Kennedy School. His visit is part of a multi-year applied research project on economic growth and diversification in Ethiopia taking place at the CID, with support from the US Agency for International Development. Joining University Marshal Margot Gill in welcoming the Mayor was Emmanuel Akyeampong, Faculty Director for the Harvard University Center for African Studies.  One topic of discussion was the possibility of establishing a special scholarship fund for top students from Ethiopia who are admitted to Harvard.
