University of Nottingham delegation

September 3, 2019

The Marshal's Office hosted a delegation from the University of Nottingham (UK) for a welcome and discussion at Wadsworth House. The 7-person delegation was led by President and Vice Chancellor Professor Shearer West, and included Harvard alumna Dr. Zoe Trodd, who now leads the Rights Lab at Nottingham. The goal of the visit was to discuss how to further expand the work of the Rights Lab, which works to understand and tackle the significant issue of modern slavery and trafficking, so the group also met with Hanni Stoklosa of the HEAL Trafficking Initiative at the Harvard Medical School, and Sushma Raman from the Carr Center for Human Rights at the Harvard Kennedy School.
