The Marshal's Office arranged for a delegation of Members of Parliament from Switzerland to have a tour of Harvard Yard and visit inside Widener Library. The rest of their time in Boston was organized by Swissnex, the local Swiss consulate.

President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer of Switzerland, visited Harvard for a 2-day visit, hosted by the Department of Global Health and Population at HSPH and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. While on campus he came to Wadsworth House for a courtesy visit with Jackie O'Neill.

Dr. Antonio Loprieno, Rector of Basel University in Switzerland, paid a visit to Harvard with some of his colleagues. Following a visit to Wadsworth House, the delegation also met with Professor Rob Lue, Director of Life Sciences Education.
