Dr. Somsak Chunharas, Deputy Minister of Health of Thailand, visited the Marshal's Office during the first week of his visiting fellowship at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. As Menschel Senior Leadership Fellow, Dr. Chunharas will teach an 8-week course, participate in the "Voices of Leadership" program, and engage in various campus activities with students and faculty. A group of 20 medical professionals from South Korea came to Harvard to participate in a program hosted by the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard. The Consul General of Japan in Boston, Rokuichiro Michii, had a courtesy visit at Wadsworth House with University Marshal Jackie O'Neill and Professor Shin Fujihira, Executive Director of the Program on US-Japan Relations at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. A delegation from the University of Sydney, Australia, spent three days at Harvard exploring possible areas of expanded collaboration between the two universities.
