Young Titans Summer Academy in Germany

Marie-Louise Schäfer and Fabiola Gerpott of the German Summer Academy "Young Titans" visited Harvard while in town for the Harvard student-fun German American Conference from April 6-9, 2017.  They met with Margot Gill, Administrative Dean for International Affairs of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Elaine Papoulias, Executive Director of the Center for European Studies, at Wadsworth House to discuss the possible participation of Harvard faculty and alumni as mentors or guest speakers for the program, to also seek guidance on how to recruit recent Harvard graduates to apply to to the… Read more about Young Titans Summer Academy in Germany

German Bundestag delegation

A group of MP's from the German Bundestag participating in an executive education program at the Harvard Kennedy School visited Wadsworth House on the last day of their program. They had a welcome and overview with the University Marshal followed by a short tour of the Yard.

Theresia Bauer, Minister of Science, Research and the Arts, Baden-Wurttemberg

Theresia Bauer, Minister of Science, Research and the Arts for the German state of Baden-Wurttemberg, visited Harvard with a delegation from Freiburg University. Following a courtesy meeting with the University Marshal, the delegation had a tour of Harvard Yard, a visit inside Widener Library, and a lunch at the Faculty Club hosted by Harvard Professor of History Sven Beckert.

Guido Westerwelle

Former Foreign Minister of Germany, Guido Westerwelle, visited Harvard at the invitation of the Center for European Studies. During his time on campus he stopped by Wadsworth House for a courtesy visit with Jackie O'Neill.
