As Deputy Marshal, John manages the administrative and financial operations of the Marshal’s Office, oversees strategy for dignitary/VIP visits, serves as the university’s protocol officer, and directs communications, among other responsibilities. John is a former Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State and completed Protocol Officer Training at the Protocol School of Washington. John holds an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School and an Ed.M from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
